It was simply love.. I know it sounds crazy it say it was all about love being it their wedding day and all. But Clare and Jim really were doing it because they simply love each other.
With their close family and friends, you could see the true beauty in their relationship throughout the whole day. Their wedding day was held in Cambridgeshire. With the girls getting ready at the Robinson College where I was able to get some stunning shots of the girls all made up before we headed off for the ceremony.
Their reception was then held at The Bourn Golf Club. Where we were surrounded by a lovely little lake and bridge.. lots of trees and fields which where the perfect backdrop for photographs.
Whilst the guests enjoyed champagne and canapé’s, Myself and the new Mr and Mrs Hodge, went off for some Bride and Groom Shots and we were definitely lucky with the beautiful sunny weather.
Back to their guests to continue enjoying their party celebrations in true style.
Clare and Jim, thank you for letting me be apart of your day, it was an honour.’
Laura and Dominic went with a simple wedding. Something that wasn’t all about how many guests they had or how much they spent on their day, but about the love they have for each other.
Their wedding took place at Laura’s mum and dads house where they had a marquee set up. Laura went for a vintage style afternoon tea which looked lovely, fresh homemade cakes, canapés and homemade sloe gin. She even made her own wedding cake… How she had time for it all I’ll never know!
Her homemade bouquet was finished by her mum with fresh flowers and it was stunning. The flowers were so fresh you could smell them in the next room, lovely colorings and a pure simple finishing touch to add to Laura’s hair, make up and golden looking dress.
They had an old fashion red double deck bus to take them to their ceremony with all their guests and it made an amazing backdrop for group photos afterwards.

Sue and Andy got married at The Swan Hotel in Bedford overlooking the river Ouse. The hotel was full of character and history adding to their day.
With elegant dresses for Sue and her bridal party, detailed lace and soft colorings. The flowers had a lovely rustic look and were the perfect finishing touch.
The ceremony room had beautiful high ceiling with large open windows looking over the river. The chairs had been finished with a champagne lace ribbon, which added class.
Sue and Andy I loved your vintage and rustic styled day!
